Job summary

The Developmental Technician, Facility Services HVAC/R at Walmart supports maintenance across multiple facilities, performing preventive maintenance and repairs under supervision. You will document work orders, refrigerant logs, and expense vouchers while coordinating with management and partners to align priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Universal or Type I/II EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean MVR.
• 1 year experience in plumbing/electrical/material handling or Walmart store experience.
• Commercial driving record with limited violations in last 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit required documentation such as expense vouchers, refrigerant logs, and work orders to senior leadership.
• Assist in gathering capital expenditure lists and develop scopes of work for HVAC/R and energy management system updates.
• Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC/R equipment under supervision.
• Collaborate with management, coworkers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following safety policies and procedures.
• Manage company vehicles by coordinating maintenance, inspections, and documentation.
• Communicate progress and adapt to feedback while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
