Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field with two years of relevant work experience or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC industry and control theory from design to commissioning
• Experience with building subsystems, low voltage wiring, and automatic temperature controls
• Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and strong computer skills
• Willingness to travel to job sites outside the local area

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems focusing on HVAC controls
• Develop, test, and commission software programs for system operation
• Create drawings, BOMs, network layouts, and electrical schematics for submittals
• Order materials, coordinate delivery, and manage factory mounting and schedules
• Assist in loading, commissioning, and troubleshooting with subcontractors
• Provide as-built information and update project documentation
• Maintain communication on project progress and issues using dashboards
• Participate in release meetings and coordinate task responsibilities with project owners
• Provide work direction to junior staff and uphold safety standards
