Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Controls Sales Engineer to drive revenue for HVAC equipment, building automation systems, and mechanical services. You will identify and sell automation solutions that help clients meet environmental, operational, financial, and people goals.

The role requires five years of BAS sales/engineering/marketing experience, BS in a technical or business field (MBA preferred), and travel about 20% within a defined region.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in BAS Sales, Engineering or Marketing.
• Bachelor's in a technical or business field; MBA preferred.
• CEM, LEED AP, PE accreditations or certificates preferred.
• Ability to travel within a defined region at least 20% of the time.
• Ability to function independently and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Prospects to locate and develop relationships with new clients.
• Develops and delivers presentations for prospective clients.
• Converts leads into opportunities and develops opportunities into win‑win projects.
• Presents proposals and negotiates price and contract terms with customers.
• Coordinates or engages in the project execution process as required.
• Maintains a working knowledge of current local utility incentive programs and leverages rebates.
• Works with existing and prospective clients to understand project goals.”
