Job summary

Carrier Enterprise in Houston is seeking a Lead Branch Sales Associate to oversee daily branch operations, mentor sales and warehouse staff, manage inventory, and drive customer-focused service for dealers and contractors.

The role offers opportunities for performance-based bonuses and requires strong leadership, HVAC knowledge, and a commitment to achieving sales and margin goals. A Forklift certification is preferred, with potential travel for training.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong customer service focus and relationship-building skills.
• Must be sales-driven with the ability to lead and motivate sales and operating staff.
• Forklift certification preferred or willing to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and mentor Branch Sales Associates and Branch Warehouse Associates.
• Communicate with customers and internal/external sales partners to ensure smooth order flow and accurate product information.
• Manage inventory activities including weekly cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Assist with interviewing and onboarding new staff and help with store sales and margin goals in partnership with Branch Sales Manager.
• Coordinate and resolve freight claims and may travel for training or meetings as needed.
