Qualifications

• Ability to do the work of a Utility Systems Repairer Operator without more than normal supervision.
• Knowledge of boiler plant, HVAC, water treatment plant operations and mechanics.
• Experience includes running a centralized, multiple zone air conditioning system and a high temperature/pressure boiler plant that contains more components, controls, gauges, electromechanical, electronics and auxiliary equipment than the standard type.
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing and replacing defective equipment and components in energy plants and HVAC systems.
• Interpretating engineering drawings that combine electrical and electronic schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings to trace signal flow throughout a system.
• Using tools and test equipment to troubleshoot components and make repairs.
