Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a STEPS Heating and Cooling Operator to support H/C Plant operations and preventative maintenance. You will assist in safe operation of mechanical and pneumatic equipment and help keep system records.

Responsibilities include maintaining steam pressure and chilled water temperatures, boilers and related equipment, and assisting in training Maintenance Workers in boiler operations. Overtime may be required.

• Maintain records of maintenance and repair; maintain, install and operate equipment at H/C Plants.
• Maintain proper steam pressure and chilled water temperatures; maintain/operate boilers and associated equipment.
