Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group seeks a Controls Project Sales Representative to lead HVAC controls and building automation projects in the Seattle area. You will identify needs, craft technical proposals, and drive projects from sales through turnover to project management.

The role blends HVAC/building automation expertise with proactive sales and business development, managing inbound opportunities and cultivating new customers for upgrades, retrofits, repairs, and system improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven success in HVAC sales or HVAC/controls field with strong technical proficiency.
• Experience with HVAC controls, BAS, DDC controls or related commercial control systems.
• Commercial HVAC/building systems experience; residential-only experience will not meet the requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sell commercial HVAC controls and BAS projects including upgrades and retrofits.
• Evaluate existing systems to identify needs and develop controls solutions.
• Prepare designs, scopes of work, cost estimates, and formal proposals.
• Manage inbound opportunities while developing new business in the assigned market.
• Build relationships with facility owners, managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Present solutions based on performance and value, not just price.
• Coordinate with project managers to transition from proposal to execution.
• Support customers with building automation, DDC, and modernization opportunities.
