Job summary

Mr. Holland’s Home Services, a Clarion Home Services Group brand, is hiring an HVAC Apprentice in Fond du Lac, WI.

This on-site, full-time role trains you to diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems under the guidance of an experienced lead technician. You’ll learn to educate customers, explore system enhancements, and support maintenance, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of residential HVAC experience or trade school graduates welcome.
• EPA Universal / Type 2 Certification preferred; valid driver's license with clean record required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills; ability to learn on the job.
• Must pass background check and drug screening per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems with lead technician.
• Shadow lead technicians to learn how to educate customers and set expectations.
• Identify system enhancements and explain options to clients for informed choices.
• Assist with startups and routine maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, managers, parts, and installation teams.
• Keep service truck clean and stocked; participate in meetings and training.
