Job summary

VTS America Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer to support customer technical needs in selecting and applying HVAC solutions.

You will perform unit selections, prepare bid documents, assist design within specs, analyze systems, and provide technical product support to sales teams. Strong CAD skills with AutoCAD or DraftSight are preferred; HVAC knowledge is essential.

• Perform unit selections, organize bid preparation documents, and ensure the accuracy of bid costing
• Design within customer documented specifications and communicate deviations
• Engage in system analysis, interpret data, and provide written recommendations to optimize customer operations
• Provide technical and product support to customers and sales managers, resolving challenges
• Recommend continuous improvements and innovations to maintain market leadership

• Maintain high organizational and communication skills

As an Application Engineer with VTS America, you will provide customer technical support through selection software. VTS is a global leader in HVAC Manufacturing and modular air handling units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform unit selections, organize bid preparation documents, and ensure the accuracy of bid costing


• Design within customer documented specifications and performance requirements and/or clearly communicate deviations


• Engage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels


• Provide technical and product support to customers and sales managers, identifying and resolving customer challenges


• Recommend continuous improvements and innovation that will maintain market and product leadership
