Job summary

Air Equipment Company in Louisville, KY seeks an HVAC Sales professional to assist in developing improvements and design projects for Consulting Engineering customers. You’ll become an expert on the equipment we represent and work with the sales team to meet revenue goals.

Requires a technical engineering bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of HVAC sales calling on consulting engineers; travel 50–75% of the time; knowledge of ASHRAE; strong math and physics; construction drawings and specs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
At least 3 years HVAC sales experience calling on consulting engineers.
Knowledgeable regarding ASHRAE recommendations and the HVAC industry.
Strong mathematics and physics.
Experience with construction drawings, specifications, and schedules is a plus.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed Revenue and Profit goals established by EVP of Sales.
Become an expert on the equipment we represent for Consulting Engineering customers.
Travel within territory 50-75% of the time.
Support Sales Team to meet business objectives and build customer relationships with excellent service and retention.
Assist Operations Team and Project Manager in project tracking and submittals/ order acknowledgements.
