Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring an HVAC Maintenance Technician for our Ridge at Chestnut Apartments in Kansas City, MO. This full-time, on-site role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC systems, with additional light plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks as needed.

You will participate in an on-call rotation, complete work orders promptly, and contribute to preventative maintenance while delivering reliable service to residents.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in maintenance preferred.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC units.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Additional repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall.
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 4 weeks

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC units
• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Additional repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC experience required
• EPA certification required
• 3+ years experience in the maintenance field a plus
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Light plumbing and electrical experience
• CPO Certification preferred
• Boiler experience a plus
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
