Job summary

Monarch Co in Columbus, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep multifamily units in top condition. You’ll handle make-ready turns, on-site maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance to ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires HVAC or EPA certification preferred, plumbing, electrical, drywall and appliance repair skills, and a willingness to perform a 24/7 on-call rotation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• HVAC or EPA certification preferred.
• Drywalling including painting and carpentry.
• Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe.
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures.
• Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal.
• Water heater knowledge both electric and gas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants.
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications.
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone.
• Snow removal.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for getting apartments ready in between residents, on-site maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance.
