Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical in Tampa seeks an Account Manager to prepare and deliver presentations for commercial equipment and services to prospective customers.

You will quote jobs, manage relationships, generate sales in the assigned territory, and use Salesforce to keep customer history up to date. The role requires HVAC industry experience and strong communication skills, with local travel to clients.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in the Commercial HVAC industry.
• Must have sales experience, preferably in HVAC Sales.
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess an ability to build strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Quote jobs and projects for accounts, and provide to customers in a timely manner.
• Answer questions from the customers about their systems and setup.
• Generate budgeted sales; manage mix and pricing to achieve margin goals and grow market share in assigned territory.
• Generate sales in assigned territory.
• Maintain productive relationships with existing customers.
• Presents his or herself in a professional and respectable manner to the customer and assists them with their HVAC needs.
• May need to assist the technicians in the field at certain times; Able to work on various types of HVAC equipment.
• May need to take supplies, tools, materials and such, to the field technicians when needed.
• Able to size duct and equipment and possess electrical knowledge for change-outs and installs and retrofits.
• Utilize SalesForce to keep updated records of customer history.
