Florida Institute of Technology seeks a skilled HVAC technician to maintain and service campus climate control and ventilation systems. Responsibilities include daily inspections, troubleshooting, repair/replacement of equipment, and preventative maintenance, with record-keeping for time and materials.

Work involves performance of skilled Air Conditioning, Heating andRefrigeration tasks in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing andservicing a variety of air conditioning, heating and refrigerationand ventilation systems for the entire campus to include on and offsite.
Responsibilities include daily inspections and maintenance of airconditioning, heating, refrigeration and ventilation system.Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair or replace equipment and systemsas directed. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.Maintain and submit records regarding time and materials expendedon projects. Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean andorderly condition. Carry rotating cell phone for after-hoursemergency calls – may be required to work evening and weekends inan emergency. Duties also include hurricane preparedness andcleanup.
