SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Manager to oversee substation design, construction, testing and energization for utility-scale projects. This role can be fully remote or based full-time in our office in Edison, NJ or Albany, NY, with location details discussed during interview.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with engineers, contractors and utilities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and lead kickoff, commissioning readiness and energization activities across HV assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation design, construction, or commissioning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage client, utility, and subcontractor interfaces.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; P6 scheduling experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD, PDF markup tools, and field documentation platforms is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Execute all responsibilities of a Project Engineer with deep focus on substation design, construction, testing, and energization.
• Review agreements and specifications to ensure substation scope compliance.
• Oversee LNTP and early-stage deliverables for HV and substation workstreams.
• Develop, manage, and track substation budget and procurement.
• Lead and manage substation subcontractors and change orders.
