The Project Manager is responsible for overall management of Substation construction/operation, with a choice to work fully remote or based in Edison, NJ or Albany, NY. Responsibilities include budgeting, substation design/construction, coordinating with engineers, vendors and clients,

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation design, construction, or commissioning.
• Experience in the Northeast region of the country.
• Lead multi-disciplinary substation projects through full lifecycle.
• Familiarity with transformers, switchgear, grounding, relays, SCADA.

Responsabilidades

• Execute responsibilities of a Project Engineer with focus on substation design, construction, testing, energization.
• Review interconnection agreements and documents to ensure compliance.
• Oversee LNTP and early-stage deliverables for HV/substation workstreams.
• Develop, manage and track substation budget including procurement and sitework.
• Lead subcontractor scopes, RFI coordination, change orders, and safety.
• Coordinate meetings, manage RFIs and submittals relevant to substation.
• Lead utility coordination meetings on relay settings and energization protocols.
• Monitor scope changes and commercial impacts; ensure on-time completion.
