SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead substation construction and energization efforts. This role can be remote or based in Edison, NJ or Albany, NY, with travel to sites as needed. You'll coordinate with engineering, construction, and utility teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery of HV projects.

The position requires strong leadership, substations experience, and familiarity with interconnection processes. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation design, construction, or commissioning of HV systems.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or PMP preferred.
• Familiarity with substation components and protection/SCADA systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and utility interfaces.

Responsabilidades

• Execute project responsibilities with focus on substation design, construction, testing and energization.
• Review agreements and interconnection documents to ensure scope compliance.
• Oversee LNTP and early-stage deliverables for HV/substation workstreams.
• Develop and track substation budget including procurement and construction labor.
• Lead substation subcontractors, including RFIs, change orders, and scheduling.]
• Coordinate with PV/BESS and substation teams for energization readiness.
• Ensure safe work environment around energized equipment and high-voltage systems.
