Job summary

MeshGrid HR is looking for a Field Service Technician across various locations in the United States. This technician will support field service projects involving inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical power equipment. Candidates must have hands-on experience with substations and related components and be prepared for regular travel, sometimes up to 80%.

The position demands strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and adherence to safety standards. An associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with high-voltage electrical systems.
• Active NETA certification at Level II, III, or IV is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds for field work.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and inspection of electrical power systems.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for completed work.
• Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
