Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years substation construction or equivalent experience
• Active, Valid Driver's License
• DOT Medical Examiners Certificate required
• Pre-screen: drug screen, background, and/or MVR check

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble high‑voltage equipment (transformers, breakers, switches, bus work, control panels)
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, construction plans
• Build grounding systems, conduit runs, cable trays, structural supports
• Pull, terminate, and label control wiring and power cables
• Operate hand and power tools and heavy equipment as required
• Document work and report progress or issues to leadership
• Follow safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulations
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site
