Job summary

Brink Constructors, Inc. is an electrical contractor with over 75 years of experience in high‑voltage transmission line and substation erection. The role focuses on installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems within the high voltage substation industry.

A valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate is required, and this is a non‑exempt hourly position. The job offers competitive hourly pay and a benefits package, including retirement savings and health coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous substation construction or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active, Valid Driver's License.
• Valid CDL A is preferred.
• Line School Certificate or Transcripts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble high‑voltage equipment such as transformers, breakers, switches, bus work, and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
• Build grounding systems, conduit runs, cable trays, and structural supports.
• Pull, terminate, and label control wiring and power cables.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required.
• Perform equipment testing, inspections, and quality checks.
• Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on‑site.
• Document work performed and report progress or issues to leadership.
