Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager - HV/BESS to plan, manage, and deliver commissioning for high‑voltage substations and battery storage projects. You will own scope, schedule, cost, and stakeholders across two to three concurrent projects, coordinating with field teams, OEMs, and customers.

The role requires hybrid work with onsite presence at job sites and partial remote work. Candidates should have 5+ years in commissioning/PM roles and a solid background in HV/BESS

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive commissioning, startup, testing, or project delivery experience.
• Experience leading HV substation or BESS commissioning projects.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, resources, risk, and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and documentation discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Own commissioning scope across 2–3 concurrent HV/BESS projects.
• Develop commissioning execution plans, milestones, and resource forecast.
• Translate requirements into executable commissioning work plans.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure prerequisites before testing.
• Coordinate field teams, OEMs, and third-party testers; manage issues.
