Job summary

rwdyinc is seeking a Midland Basin Power Project Engineer based in Spring, TX, with travel to Midland about twice per month. The role focuses on engineering design, budget/schedule adherence, and compliance with industry standards.

You will review policies, support the engineering process, and back up the Project Manager as needed. Key duties include ITT development, FEED contractor support, Gate 3 deliverables, and ensuring proper interface and handoffs between teams and contractors for smooth

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in engineering with electrical focus preferred.
• Experience in engineering, construction and PM/controls.
• Experience on electrical substation and transmission projects.
• Knowledge of NEC and API 14F regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with ERCOT and/or SPP grid design and ops.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design evaluations within budget and schedule.
• Review industry policies for data accuracy, security and compliance.
• Review production, malfunction and maintenance reports for issues.
• Provide technical support and back up the Project Manager.
• Participate in ITT development, bid evaluation and contractor selection.
• Coordinate FEED contractor support and Gate 3 deliverables.
• Coordinate Functional Interaction Plan and project issues process.
• Lead PMT in applying Project Management Systems.
• Interface between Project Team and Contractor and ensure smooth transitions.
