Job summary

M&S Engineering, LLC seeks an Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer at our Spring Branch, Texas location to perform engineering and design duties which require application of engineering principles and knowledge of substation design.

Detail engineering and design of substation projects from conceptual design through construction from 4kV to 345kV; details of relaying, protection, and controls; preparation of design documents, reports, and BOMs; coordination with the project team and

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering (Power emphasis preferred). Master’s degree is highly undesired for this position.

Responsibilities

• Detail engineering and design of substation projects from conceptual design through construction (4kV–345kV).
• Detail relaying, protection, and controls engineering and design.
• Create/modify design documents, drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Coordinate with manager, clients, and others; manage scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Possess project engineer/manager responsibilities as needed.
