Job summary

Rwdy-Inc seeks a Midland Basin Power Project Engineer to lead design evaluations for high‑voltage electrical facilities and manage project scope within budget and schedule. The role supports the Project Manager and collaborates with teams across engineering, construction, and procurement.

Responsibilities include participating in ITT, coordinating gate deliverables, and ensuring compliance with NEC/API standards while adapting to project priorities and tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering; electrical preferred.
• Experience in engineering, construction and PM/controls.
• Experience with electrical substation and transmission projects recommended.
• Broad knowledge of HV electrical design, NEC and API 14F.
• Understanding of electrical systems equipment selection and specs.
• Familiarity with ERCOT or SPP grid design.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent English reading/writing/speaking.

Responsibilities

• Participates in ITT development, bid evaluation and contractor selection.
• Sourcing long-lead equipment and FEED contractor support.
• Coordinate EMCAPS Gate 3 deliverables and Functional Interaction Plan.
• Coordinate project issues resolution and change requests.
• Ensure design/construction align with project specs and standards.
• Interface between Project Team and Contractor.
