SB Energy, a SoftBank/Ares-backed leader in data center infrastructure, seeks an experienced HV Electrical Engineer to own HV/MV scope for hyperscale campuses. You will drive substation design, utility interconnections, generation integration, and BESS/UPS coordination, ensuring reliability and grid compliance.

The role requires leadership across engineering teams, rapid response to load changes, and strong collaboration with utilities and EPCs.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of professional power systems engineering experience.
• Strong background in HV substations, MV distribution, transmission lines, and utility interconnections.
• Experience with hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities is preferred.
• BSEE (Power Systems) from ABET-accredited program; MS and PE are a plus.
• Ability to own engineering scope, drive deliverables, and coordinate with utilities/ISOs/RTOs.

Responsabilidades

• Own HV/MV electrical engineering scope for hyperscale data centers and associated interconnections.
• Lead design and technical reviews for HV substations, MV distribution, and protection systems.
• Coordinate with utilities, EPCs, OEMs, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Develop high-reliability architectures (N+1, 2N) for large AI data center loads.
• Review and deliver electrical one-lines, layouts, and protection schemes from concept to commissioning.
• Support commissioning and energization of HV/MV systems, including generation and BESS/UPS integration.
