Job summary

SB Energy, backed by SoftBank and Ares, seeks an Electrical Engineer - Data Center Power Generation to lead owner-side electrical engineering for simple-cycle and combined-cycle gas projects, guiding design through turnover.

You will coordinate interfaces among OEMs, EPCs, and SB Energy teams; review design packages, RFIs, submittals, and provide technical decisions to keep safety and reliability at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7–10+ years in electrical engineering for gas-fired power generation.
• Experience coordinating electrical design interfaces between major equipment OEMs and EPC teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner-s electrical engineering for simple-cycle and combined-cycle gas projects through design, commissioning, and turnover.
• Review design criteria, specs, drawings, and equipment selections for codes and operating needs.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces among OEMs, EPCs, SB Energy teams, and consultants; lead RFIs and submittals review.
