Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to support testing and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV projects. You will work with the Commissioning Manager and SMEs to ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned per project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence at job sites with partial remote work, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Proven knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with NFPA/NEC, NERC, ISO and other safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commissioning team with guidance and training.
• Report daily on project status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Prepare daily commissioning reports and track lessons learned.
