Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a strategic PD Quality Supervisor for High Voltage Traction Batteries in Dearborn. You will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Teardown Specialists to improve reliability of HV battery assemblies, including BEC and BECM modules, while advancing AI-driven problem solving and issue resolution.

You will guide the 2026 quality strategy, manage warranty reduction targets, and provide executive reporting on status and costs.

Qualifications

• Led or supervised technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with 8D/A3 problem-solving methodologies and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Ford quality tools and databases (GSAR, JIRA, SIMPSN, Datacubes).
• Strong financial acumen related to warranty spend and cost-reduction tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Engineers and Teardown Specialists.
• Drive 2026 quality strategy including warranty reduction targets and faster issue resolution.
• Oversee high-complexity 8D/A3 investigations and data integrity in cross-functional forums.
• Integrate AI tools into engineering processes to automate data synthesis and failure analysis.
• Provide executive-level reporting on quality metrics and warranty costs.
