Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a strategic PD Quality Supervisor for High Voltage Traction Batteries in Dearborn. You will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Teardown Specialists focused on HV battery assemblies, including BEC and BECM, driving a 2026 quality strategy.

You’ll manage warranty reduction targets, improve issue resolution speed, and champion continuous improvement using AI tools in standard processes. On-site presence is required four days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related field.
• 5–7 years in Product Development, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing with electrified powertrains.
• Experience leading technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with 8D/A3 problem-solving and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-complexity Quality A3/8D investigations and represent the department in forums.
• Monitor launches and model year changes to identify launch concerns.
• Integrate AI tools into engineering processes to automate data synthesis and failure analysis.
• Synthesize quality data and reports for senior leadership forums.
