Job summary

American Battery Solutions is seeking a RMA Line Technician - Temporary in Sharonville, OH. The role involves analyzing and remanufacturing battery packs returned through the RMA process, inspecting components, performing part replacements, and maintaining meticulous records to ensure traceability and quality compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably an associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field, with at least two years

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant manufacturing or mechanical experience.
• Experience with disassembly, repair, and reassembly of high-voltage battery packs or similar systems.
• Experience working under ISO 9001 quality systems; ability to perform inspections for compliance.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft productivity tools for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of HV battery packs and modules.
• Diagnose errors or technical issues and determine solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis on failed components and verify with inspections/testing.
• Create RMA analysis reports and document findings in Salesforce, Plex, or ERP systems.
• Support quality investigations and 8D problem-solving activities.
• Conduct and document test and inspection data to ensure compliance with specifications.
