Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. in Holland, MI is seeking a Pack QA Inspector I for the day shift.

You will use equipment and computerized systems to produce and evaluate lithium-ion battery packs, disassemble suspect or defective batteries, and document results for the team. You will conduct quality checks, engage in troubleshooting and basic equipment maintenance, collect qualifying products, and prepare shipments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards are followed
• Check product and production process for desired quality to specifications
• Monitor data from measuring devices
• Work with teams and individuals to safety standards are being adhered
• Assemble and disassemble equipment
• Create work orders or instructions as needed
• Engage in troubleshooting and report issues if not resolved
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain; Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
• Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
