Job summary

Eaton Corporation seeks a Technician II (38KV Front) on 2nd shift in Greenwood, SC. The role covers assembly, wiring, and modification of HV assemblies, with emphasis on safety and quality. You’ll work from drawings, perform wire operations, and support engineering and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, hands-on tools experience, and 1 year in industrial manufacturing. Relocation is not offered; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Skilled in the knowledge and safe use of hand and air tools.
• 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify work per guidelines for HV equipment and sub-assemblies.
• Follow manufacturing drawings, instructions, and ISO/quality checklists.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.
• Lift and assemble heavy copper parts.
• Report shortages to Kanban inventory operators.
• Inspect assemblies for hardware and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and customer-driven developments.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues for knowledge transfer.
