Job summary

Human Resource Consulting Group (HRCG) is seeking a Sales Manager to drive new business and expand HR, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and workforce solutions for Connecticut-based clients. You will develop relationships, qualify opportunities, and present tailored HRCG services across the employee lifecycle.

You will build a robust pipeline, partner with recruiting and operations teams, and expand recurring client partnerships while meeting revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales or business development preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect and develop new client relationships.
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, HR, payroll/HCM, PEO, benefits, HR technology, or professional services preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and develop new client relationships.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Connect with CEOs, CFOs, business owners, HR leaders, hiring managers, and operations executives.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand an organization's business, HR, talent, and workforce challenges.
• Present appropriate HRCG solutions based on the client's needs.
• Prepare and present proposals and move opportunities through the sales process.
• Manage opportunities from initial introduction through close and transition to the appropriate HRCG service team.
• Meet established activity, pipeline, and new-business revenue goals.
• Identify employers with ongoing or emerging hiring needs.
• Develop relationships with organizations utilizing temporary, contract, temp-to-hire, direct-hire, and professional recruiting services.
• Prospect companies experiencing growth, turnover, seasonal workforce demands, hard-to-fill positions.
• Build relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, operations leaders, and executives to understand needs.
• Partner with our recruiting and operations teams to turn those needs into effective workforce solutions.
• Develop relationships beyond an individual placement or assignment, creating recurring, long-term client partnerships.
• Understand the client's business well enough to recognize where else HRCG can help.
• Sell multiple solutions rather than being limited to one product or service.
