Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory in Gainesville, FL seeks a Humanized Technologist to support the creation, maintenance and shipment of humanized mice in an ABSL-2 environment. You will perform basic procedures, manage sanitation and documentation, and assist with sample handling under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in a related role preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation in an ABSL-2 lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic animal husbandry and room maintenance in ABSL-2 areas.
• Conduct procedures such as injections and blood collection under supervision.
• Maintain records, ensure sanitation, and support shipment of animals.
• Operate equipment and enter data into required information systems.
