The Jackson Laboratory, a nonprofit biomedical research institution, seeks a Humanized Technologist to support humane mouse models in an ABSL-2 environment. You will perform essential animal care, data entry, and routine welfare checks while adhering to strict SOPs and safety protocols.
Responsibilities include autoclave operations, documentation, and collaboration with team members to meet project needs. Weekend, holiday, and overtime shifts may be required as part of this role.
Working under general supervision, the Humanized Technologist works in ABSL-2 environment supporting multiple rooms, works with human cells and irradiators to humanize mice, performs basic procedures required to support the creation, maintenance and shipment of Humanized mice, consistently performing all tasks and procedures according to protocol and associated SOPs. The incumbent is responsible for general duties performed by everyone in the work area including sanitation/disinfection, barrier entry/exit and safety procedures. May be required to work weekend shifts, holidays, and overtime.
Education: High School Diploma required/ Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience: 2 years required/ 3 years preferred

Compensation range: $23.73 - $34.41 per hour
