Overview

We are seeking a senior Human Systems Integration Engineer to support our Washington, DC office. The candidate will provide analysis and design support across human factors engineering, manpower, training, safety, survivability, and habitability to optimize human performance and total system effectiveness. The work will focus on reducing system ownership costs while enhancing mission capability.

What will you do?

1. Provide integrated analysis, design, and assessment of requirements, concepts, and resources for human factors engineering, manpower, personnel, training, safety, occupational health, force protection, survivability, and habitability.
2. Ensure human performance is optimized to increase total system performance and minimize total system ownership costs.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• 10-15 years of relevant experience
• Relevant Human Systems Integration (HIS) engineering experience related to R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance and the ability to sustain it

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in engineering, physical sciences, mathematics, or a related field
• Professional Engineer License
• 15+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Navy shipbuilding and defense systems in R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Additional Information

• Pay Range: $85,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and market considerations.
