Job summary

Yakima Neighborhood Health Services in Yakima, WA is seeking an HR Recruiter to plan and manage the recruitment and selection of staff. You will organize incoming applications, perform reference checks, and develop relationships with programs for referrals.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. A bachelor’s degree in HR or business is preferred; bilingual Spanish/English desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage recruitment and selection of staff.
• Organizes and maintains incoming job applications.
• Conduct professional reference checks on qualified candidates.
• Collect and track data on time-to-fill for positions and report to HR Director.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
• Develop and maintain contacts with academic and vocational programs for candidate referrals.
• Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
• Perform new employee, long term volunteers, and independent contractors HR Orientations.
• Manage and protect personnel records, maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Assist with filing of accounting and personnel records.
• Maintains required records, reports, and files.
• Participation in staff meetings as directed.
• Perform related work and other tasks as requested
