Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience with an Associate's degree, or 3+ years of HR experience without a degree.
• Experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, or HR administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard hourly manufacturing employees and other operational staff.
• Lead new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees regarding policies, benefits, attendance, and workplace questions.
• Track attendance, PTO requests, and employee records.
• Partner with leaders on performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and employee development initiatives.
• Coordinate training programs and maintain training documentation.
• Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and workplace concerns.
• Support payroll-related audits, reporting, and timecard review processes.
• Maintain personnel files and ensure HR compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Provide ongoing administrative support to operations and leadership teams.

Human Resources Specialist

$65,000-$70,000 Salary | Minneapolis, MN | Full-Time | Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire

Looking for an HR role where you'll have real influence, strong leadership exposure, and the opportunity to support a close-knit workforce? We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, training, and compliance initiatives in a highly visible role. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys balancing employee-facing responsibilities with hands-on HR administration and recruiting.

What You'll Do

• Recruit and onboard hourly manufacturing employees and other operational staff

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems
• SHRM-CP certification is a plus, but not required
• Manufacturing, union, or industrial workforce experience is highly preferred

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $65,000-$70,000 annually
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Occasional overtime as needed
• 100% onsite position
