Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. We're looking for a highly motivated individual to provide effective and efficient support to the human resources department.

Location: This position in on-site in Syracuse, NY with local travel between offices required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Serve as local subject matter expert for employee benefits and payroll questions, coordinating with PEO and finance as necessary, coordinate benefits enrollment meetings, communications, and processes.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation activities as well as the end employment process for both voluntary and involuntary separations.
  • Responsible for all employee record keeping and management (personnel files, HRIS administration, etc.).
  • Develop and run reports for HR leadership and management to support business planning and compliance.
  • Manage employee leaves of absence regarding LOA status and return-to-work processes.
  • Prepare and distribute HR related communications.
  • Lead hourly Operations employee talent acquisition management activities.
  • Manage the scheduling of company training.
  • Coordinate, manage and distribute event tickets.
  • Assist with planning and execution HR sponsored special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and celebrations.
  • Other HR projects and tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
  • 0 - 2 years of related experience in Human Resources, Office Management, or related experience.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a HR assistant, specialist, or generalist role.

Compensation and Benefits: Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, and disability insurance. The company also provides a remote or hybrid work environment and potential stock options.

Salary Range: The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $61,000 to $70,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Hidden Level considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
