Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a well-established manufacturing organization to place an HR Specialist who will be hands-on, build relationships with employees, and support a wide range of HR functions on-site.

You will work closely with an experienced HR leader, handle employee relations, recruiting, payroll, and labor relations initiatives, with mentorship and growth opportunities in a visible role.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Employee relations investigations and conflict resolution experience required.
  • Payroll experience, preferably with ADP.
  • Recruiting for hourly and professional-level positions.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred but not required.
  • Interest in labor relations and union environments a plus.
  • This is an on-site role; candidates must be comfortable working in person.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily HR operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Process payroll through ADP and assist with payroll-related inquiries.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and support conflict resolution efforts.
  • Partner with managers on employee performance, coaching, and workplace concerns.
  • Assist with labor relations activities and gain exposure to union contract negotiations.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement initiatives.

This is a highly visible opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships with employees, and supporting a wide range of HR functions.

This role will partner closely with an experienced HR leader and serve as a key member of the HR team, supporting employee relations, recruiting, payroll, and labor relations initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000+, depending on experience
