Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking an HR Payroll Coordinator to support clerical operations for employment records and payroll processing. You will manage HRIS data, assist with changes, and ensure accurate, timely payroll and related reimbursements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for HRIS payroll processing and bi-weekly reports.
• Process status changes, new hires, and terminations in HRIS.
• Handle payroll deductions including hospital accounts, garnishments.
• Manage invoicing for contract nursing and tuition reimbursement processing.
• Field Fidelity inquiries and retirement funding processing.

Summary/Objective

The HR Payroll Coordinator provides clerical support by developing, implementing and maintenance of systems for record-keeping pertaining to employment.

Essential Job Duties

• Responsible for all HR/Payroll related inquiries and troubleshooting regarding payroll system, including VOEs and Employee Reporting. General payroll system maintenance including approving employee changes (address, bank, W-4, name)
• Review and process Status/Job/Department changes (PAFs) and New Hires/Terminations in HRIS system
• Oversees and serves as the main point of contact for the HRIS system and runs bi-weekly payroll reports. Works with payroll during processing, including entering employee incentives, PTO payouts, and PTO cash outs.
• Processes Payroll Deductions including, but not limited to, Hospital Accounts, OAG, and Treasury Garnishments
• Manages invoicing for contract nursing, tuition reimbursement processing, and processing of applications for new recipients, including maintenance of Tuition Reimbursement spreadsheet
• Responsible for fielding all Fidelity inquiries, file errors, reporting, etc. Processes retirement funding, bi-weekly

Required Education And Experience

High School Graduate or Equivalent

1 - 3 years of related experience in field.

Experience with implementing and maintaining systems of record-keeping pertaining to employment.
