Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a Human Capital professional to join a team of about 25 specialists dedicated to attracting and developing top talent. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, initiative, and confidentiality while coordinating across North American and European time zones.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field, up to three years of experience, and hands-on experience with HR systems like Workday and Excel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related discipline with strong academic performance.
  • Up to 3 years related work experience in a complex, fast paced and high-volume business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Zoom.
  • Experience with employee management systems (Workday) and HR technologies (LinkedIn Learning, Enboarder).
  • Curious and analytic thinkers with a problem-solving mindset who find the right resources to solve issues.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

Job description

The Human Capital team comprises about 25 professionals committed to attracting, developing, and retaining excellent colleagues across the firm.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related discipline with strong academic performance;
  • Up to 3 years related work experience in a complex, fast paced and high-volume business (professional services preferred);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), communication software (Zoom), advanced knowledge of Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) desirable;
  • Experience with employee management systems (Workday preferred) and other HR technologies (LinkedIn Learning, Enboarder preferred);
  • Curious and analytic thinkers with a problem-solving mindset who find the right resources to solve the issue;
  • Effective written and oral communication skills;
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative, ownership and leadership;
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities;
  • Excellent time management, task prioritization, and detail orientation;
  • Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;
  • Empathic and warm personality, exhibiting patience and calmness in challenging situations;
  • Flexibility to work across North American and European time zones, potential evening and weekend work, and occasional overnight/international travel.
