Leggett & Platt, Incorporated in Carthage, MO invites an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our Wire Mill operations. You will implement policies covering recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training to drive engagement and retention.

The role demands strong knowledge of federal/state employment laws, plus proven HR leadership to shape staffing, performance, and career development.

Formación

• Five years of human resources manager experience (manufacturing environment required).
• Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations including EEO and Immigration.
• Demonstrated experience in human resource management or planning.
• Ability to develop and execute HR strategies within a business organization.
• Ability to lead efforts to drive cost and service improvements through HR strategies and programs.

Responsabilidades

• Assists location management by analyzing and supporting HR functions.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws affecting HR, payroll, and personnel issues.
• Manages payroll data, processes payroll, and verifies accuracy.
• Oversees HR communications with employees and informs them of programs, policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Ensures organizational structure supports goals and is staffed with qualified personnel.
• Participates in recruitment, selection, and interviews for positions.
• Creates and submits compensation approval or replacement forms and offers of employment.
• Maintains all personnel records in compliance with laws.
• Oversees employee relations, terminations, disciplinary actions, and exit interviews.
• Coordinates performance appraisals to assess performance/productivity.
• Assesses and develops staff training programs including ISO and orientation.
• Maintains updated job descriptions and organizational charts.
• Advises supervisors on wage reviews.
• Represents the company in unemployment hearings.
• Investigates discrimination and harassment cases and documents findings.
• Reviews and recommends HR policies and procedures.
• Leads recruiting processes and posts advertisements for open positions.
• Counsels management on personnel issues and policy interpretation.
• Researches and resolves issues related to HR policies and procedures.
