Job summary

Krueger International Incorporated in Manitowoc, WI, seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR services at our manufacturing facility.

You will drive recruitment, performance management, compensation strategy, safety compliance, and staff development, while partnering with managers to build a high‑performing team.

The role requires a HR degree, 2+ years in HR/leadership, and certifications are preferred; Spanish skills are a plus in a diverse site environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Two years+ of HR and/or leadership experience with progressive responsibilities.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications preferred.
  • Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and support policies and procedures including handbook review and revisions.
  • Assist managers with performance management, discipline and team building ensuring compliance with laws.
  • Develop and oversee strategic employee programs.
  • Lead investigations for harassment, discrimination and other claims.
  • Manage leave of absences and accommodation requests.
  • Coordinate employee recognition, budgeting and administration.
  • Develop and coordinate performance review processes.
  • Coach technicians, coordinators and managers as needed.
  • Strategize recruitment of office and plant staff.
  • Coordinate sourcing of candidates via ads, job fairs and educational relations.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and essential functions.
  • Develop and coordinate safety initiatives including awareness and training.
  • Provide case management for workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
  • Ensure OSHA policy, training and recordkeeping compliance.
  • Forecast facility and career development needs.
  • Schedule and conduct various training sessions throughout the year.
  • Develop and manage the plant compensation program.
  • Obtain market salary data and review internal equity.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the strategy and delivery of HR services in the areas of recruitment, performance management, compensation, organizational development, safety, legal compliance, policy and procedure development, and general day to day HR issues.

Responsibilities:
