Human Resources Manager – Employee Relations

This role is based in either our New York or London office and may offer a flexible hybrid work schedule.

About the Role

The Human Resources Manager – Employee Relations is a key member of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team. Responsibilities include managing the global employee relations program, advising and partnering with business leaders, interpreting HR policies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing employee relations strategies aligned with the firm’s values
  • Handling escalations related to employee matters, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Conducting investigations into employee issues, ensuring fairness and legal compliance
  • Advising managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Collaborating with legal counsel on employment law compliance
  • Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in HR or investigations
  • Minimum of 4 years in implementing HR policies and supervising staff
  • Ability to act as an advisor and use independent judgment

Compensation Range

$170,000 - $190,000 annually, based on experience.
