A few details about the role:

  • Consult and collaborate with Support Center leaders and the directors of human resources regarding recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and performance management of team members.
  • Administer the onboarding of new hires for the Support Center.
  • Administer human resource policies, procedures, and programs while ensuring compliance and confidentiality of information while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage, track, administer, and support protected leaves and workers compensation claims for all Support Center team members in accordance with the federal guidelines.
  • Act as the main point of contact between Lifespace and the payroll provider.
  • Oversee the accurate collection and maintenance of payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other adjustments.
  • Regularly audit payroll data to ensure consistency and accuracy before submission to the third-party provider.
  • Ensure that payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations, wage laws, and labor standards.
  • Manage the accurate filing of payroll taxes and compliance documentation, such as W-2s and 1099s.
  • Review payroll reports from the third-party provider for accuracy and approve final payroll.
