Job summary

Consilio LLC's ELS Direct Hire Staffing Division seeks an experienced Manager of Human Resources for a law firm client. This HR leader oversees the full employee lifecycle, advising attorneys, staff, and management in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Based in Washington, DC with a hybrid work arrangement, you will lead recruiting, compensation, training, compliance, benefits, and HR policy initiatives to attract and develop top talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
• Experience recruiting and talent acquisition strategy.
• Ability to train, coach, and influence managers.
• SHRM certification preferred.

Consilio's ELS Direct Hire Staffing Division is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager of Human Resources for our Law firm client. Must have legal HR experience!

This is a high-impact role for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced professional services environment and is passionate about attracting top talent, developing employees, ensuring compliance, and partnering with leadership to build an exceptional workplace.

As the Firm's HR leader, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle while serving as a trusted advisor to attorneys, staff, and firm management.

What You'll Do

• Lead attorney and professional staff recruiting, hiring, and onboarding

• Provide guidance on employee relations matters and performance management
• Administer employee benefits programs and vendor relationships

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and best practicesExperience administering employee benefits and leave programs
• Proven success in recruiting and talent acquisition strategy
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and influence managers and employees
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and other business applications
