Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Manager role based in Stockton, CA. The Human Resources Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. Responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding, supporting workforce planning, and partnering with managers to address staffing needs across multiple properties. The individual will maintain HR records and systems, coordinate benefits and payroll queries, and support training and development initiatives. The role also involves developing and implementing HR policies, handling investigations and conflict resolution, and contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Human resources operations and employee relations skills, including experience with performance management, conflict resolution, and workforce planning.
  • Recruiting and onboarding skills, such as job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and new-hire orientation.
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance, including federal, state, and local regulations relevant to multi‑site property management.
  • HR administration skills, including maintaining HRIS or similar systems, managing personnel files, and supporting payroll and benefits processes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with employees, managers, and leadership across diverse locations.
  • Ability to analyze HR data, prepare reports, and use metrics to inform decisions and improve HR processes.
  • Experience in property management, real estate, or a multi-location service environment is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (such as SHRM‑CP or PHR) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on‑site in Stockton, CA, handle sensitive information with discretion, and promote an equitable, inclusive, and non‑discriminatory workplace.
