Job summary

Westmont Hospitality is seeking a Human Resources Manager to drive HR operations across the United States locations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and affirmative action policies.

You will align HR activities with strategic goals, foster fairness and continuous improvement, and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff while resolving workplace issues to promote a healthy, legally compliant environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-year hotel or human resources experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human resources management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of State employment laws, labor regulations, and affirmative action requirements.
  • Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor affirmative action plans to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, ensuring accuracy and employee understanding.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and conducting investigations when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and labor regulations by updating policies and conducting regular audits.
  • Oversee disciplinary procedures, including documentation, counseling, and performance improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and enforce human resources policies that support organizational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports related to workforce metrics and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on HR best practices and legal requirements.
  • Lead HR operations to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency within the department.
