SmartRecruiters, Inc. in Northern Iowa seeks a Senior Human Resources Manager who can work independently to partner with management to meet objectives, boost productivity, and raise morale.

You will oversee HR for salaried and hourly employees in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include recruiting, employee relations, benefits, development, training, and communications; policy planning; promoting engagement and retention; compensation administration; compliance with laws; and OSHA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
• Minimum five to ten years’ experience in human resources, including significant HR Manager experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with skilled hourly workers.
• HR certification (SPHR or PHR) preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, plant safety, and environmental, health and safety reporting.
